36.11.417 BIODIVERSITY - COOPERATIVE PLANNING
(1) The department shall make reasonable efforts, in its sole discretion, to
pursue cooperative planning with major adjoining landowners. The objectives of
cooperative planning shall be to maintain appropriate amounts and distribution
of stand structures and species mixtures to promote biodiversity at a landscape
level, and to equitably maintain or promote trust revenue opportunities over the
long-term.
(a) Cooperative plans
shall be evaluated as needed, to monitor how successfully they are being
implemented, and to determine if continued participation is warranted.
