36.2.901 PURPOSE (1) The following rules and procedures were developed to implement the provisions of Chapter 467, L. 1987, 77-1-701, et seq., MCA. These statutory provisions provide, with some exceptions, that ownership records pertaining to non-trust state-owned land administered by other state agencies be filed with the department of natural resources and conservation and recorded in a centrally maintained filing system.
