37.83.810 QUALIFIED MEDICARE BENEFICIARIES, PAYMENT OF MEDICARE PREMIUMS (1) Medicaid will cover the medicare Part B insurance premium for a qualified medicare beneficiary. (2) Medicaid will cover the medicare Part A insurance premium for a qualified medicare beneficiary who is not eligible for premium-free medicare Part A insurance coverage. (3) The department will enroll all qualified medicare beneficiaries in medicare Part B insurance. Persons who are not eligible for premium free medicare Part A insurance, will not be enrolled by the department in medicare Part A insurance. Those persons must enroll themselves through the United States social security administration.
