4.13.1005    MALTING BARLEY GERMINATION

(1)  The state grain laboratory will use either the 48 hour hydrogen peroxide or the Aubry blotter method for purposes of determining malting barley germination.

(2)  The procedure for both methods are stated, and hereby incorporated by reference, in the report of the subcommittee on methods of barley analysis, "American Society of Brewing Chemists" Proc. 1946, p. 92, Journal 35: 114 (1977).
