TO: All Concerned Persons
1. On November 18, 2022, the Department of Public Health and Human Services published MAR Notice No. 37-1018 pertaining to the public hearing on the proposed amendment of the above-stated rules at page 2202 of the 2022 Montana Administrative Register, Issue Number 22.
2. A public hearing was held December 8, 2022. The comment period is being extended to 5:00 p.m. on February 3, 2023, to allow interested persons additional time to comment on the proposed amendment of the above-referenced rules. The department has published proposed fee schedules that incorporate procedure codes that were recently published by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and that the department is required to follow. The proposed fee schedules are posted at: https://medicaidprovider.mt.gov/proposedfs.
Additionally, the department notes that fee schedules for intensive outpatient (IOP) therapy services for children were published with the original proposal notice. The IOP rates are proposed as a permanent reimbursement rate, after being enacted on a temporary basis during the coronavirus public health emergency.
3.
