(1) The board hereby creates a committee to be known as the Dental Hygienist Committee. The committee shall consist of:

(a) the two dental hygienist board members; and

(b) one dentist board member who either:

(i) employs a dental hygienist; or

(ii) is employed by a Federally Qualified Health Center that also employs a dental hygienist.

(2) The committee shall meet as needed to review issues pertaining to dental hygienists and make recommendations to the full board.
