In localities where there are
two or more tow car services, officers shall distribute tow car service calls
on an equitable basis by an established "Tow Car Rotation System."
The "Tow Car Rotation System" must be used when all tow car services
are approximately the same distance from services requested. In establishing
the rotation system officers must be assured by the participating agencies
that:
(1) Service will be prompt;
(2) The agency has adequate equipment to
properly, safely and quickly perform the services;
(3) The agency is subject to call 24 hours
per day, 7 days a week and will accept service calls on that basis; and
(4) The agency has equipment to qualify
under section 61-9-416 MCA.
