24.189.610 EXAMINATION (1) Examinations for licensure are a computerized national examination and a computerized Montana jurisdictional training course with evaluative aspects, conducted by the board or its representative(s). Acceptable performance on the computerized examination developed by the national licensing program, with the support of the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards, is a scaled score of 500. (2) Applicants may take the Montana training course as many times as necessary to pass. Applicants who fail the national examination two or more times must file a plan with the board to secure further professional training and experience before retaking the exam. The applicant must complete the approved plan before retaking the examination.
