(1) No producer is authorized to

market, sell, solicit or otherwise contact a person for the

purpose of marketing long-term care insurance unless the

producer has demonstrated his or her knowledge of long-term care insurance and the appropriateness of such insurance by passing a test required by this state and maintaining appropriate licenses.
