(1) There shall be no direct physical connection between the sewer system and any drain from the swimming pool or spa recirculation system. Any swimming pool or spa when discharged to the sewer system, storm drain, or other approved drainage source shall connect through a suitable air break so as to preclude the possibility of backflow of sewage or other contaminant into the swimming pool piping system.

(2) Toilet room sewage and shower drainage shall be discharged to an approved municipal sanitary sewage system or to a sewage disposal system as lawfully approved by the regulatory authority.
