(1) If a member signs a revocable payroll deduction authorization and subsequently reduces the monthly payment amount or terminates monthly payments before the terms of the contract are fulfilled, the member's account will be credited with the prorated portion of the service purchased to date.

(2) The cost to purchase the balance of the remaining service will be recalculated at the time the member reapplies to purchase the balance of the service. Interest will be included at the rate set by the board.
