(1) All parts of vending machines which come into direct contact with other than readily perishable foods shall be thoroughly cleaned and subjected to bactericidal treatment by methods approved by the health officer. The frequency of such cleaning and bactericidal treatment shall be established by the health officer based upon the type of product being dispensed.
(2) A record of such cleaning and bactericidal treatment operations shall be maintained by the operator in each machine and shall be current for at least the past 30 days.
