(1) Certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) practice is the independent and/or collaborative performance of or the assistance in any act involving the determination, preparation, administration, or monitoring of any drug used in the administration of anesthesia or related services for surgical and other therapeutic procedures that require the presence of persons educated in the administration of anesthetics.
(2) Every licensed CRNA shall abide by the practice standards and guidelines established by a CRNA national professional organization as identified by the CRNA.
