(1) An employee may file a grievance under the grievance policy, ARM 2.21.8010 et seq., based on receipt of a written notice of lay-off due to reduction in force.

(2) This policy must be followed unless it conflicts with negotiated labor contracts which take precedence to the extent applicable.
