(1) Illness management and recovery (IMR) program consists of a series of weekly sessions where department-approved trainers provide services to individuals who have experienced the symptoms of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or major depression.
(2) The services may be provided in an individual or group format and generally last between three to six months.
(3) Department-approved trainers work collaboratively with individuals by offering a variety of information, strategies, and skills for use to manage mental illness, achieve personal goals, and further their own recovery.
