(1) A graduating student at the proficient level
in health enhancement demonstrates solid academic performance. He/she:
(a) participates in some physical activities;
(b) demonstrates competency in a variety of
physical activities;
(c) demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary
to determine current and future fitness needs;
(d) initiates independent and responsible personal
behavior;
(e) anticipates potentially dangerous consequences
of actions;
(f) analyzes, evaluates, and forms opinions
regarding health information, services, products, and the effects of external
influences; and
(g) uses communication skills effectively in a
variety of settings.
