NOTICE OF AMENDMENT

 

TO: All Concerned Persons

 

            1. On October 23, 2020, the Board of Medical Examiners (board) published MAR Notice No. 24-156-90 regarding the public hearing on the proposed amendment of the above-stated rule, at page 1866 of the 2020 Montana Administrative Register, Issue No. 20.

 

            2. On November 18, 2020, a public hearing was held on the proposed amendment of the above-stated rule in Helena. One comment was received by the November 20, 2020 deadline.

 

            3. The board has considered the comment received. A summary of the comment and the board response are as follows:

 

COMMENT 1:  Numerous commenters supported the proposed changes to ARM 24.156.2771 and expressed appreciation for recognizing physician assistants as appropriate medical direction oversight of emergency care providers.

 

RESPONSE 1: The board appreciates all comments received during the rulemaking process.

 

            4. The board has amended ARM 24.156.2771 exactly as proposed.
